WEB SERIES NETWORK

a place for web series fans and creators to connect

Jeremy Randall Johnston

How many outlets to showcase your series and which ones are the best?

It seems that everyone has their series available on YouTube, which I plan to do as well as creating a home site for my series. I am curious though if anyone is posting their series on any other sites? Do I want to post episodes anywhere I can, or just stick with one or two sites? Ideally I want viewers to watch it at the home site I created, but will utilize YouTube to hopefully gain additional viewers who otherwise would have never heard of the show. Also, for those that have a home site for their series, do you keep all your episodes on YouTube or do you only leave a few up at a time to try to drive viewers to your site.  I appreciate anyone who may have some insight on this.

Peace, Jeremy

Hyper-syndicate on sites like Web Series Network, Dailymotion, Blip and Vimeo. Identify your audience, go where they are online and offline and promote your web series to them. Most importantly, set aside marketing $ for paid promotions via Youtube and Facebook as well as your website. Let me know if you need my consult.
